1. Good location just walking distance from all the major restaurants. 2. Old British heritage feel rooms although a bit small, with wooden floors and furniture. Bathroom was newly renovated and well equipped. 3. Bed / linen was soft and comfortable. 4. Room rate included breakfast starts 8.30amd the spread is only South Indian dishes with tea / coffee, suggestion to include bread / toast and fruits / juices. 5. Acitivites for kids were board games / badminton. We had to miss our room rate paid breakfast on the 3rd day since we had to leave early. We asked for only 2 coffees for which we were charged extra which I think is not good hospitality on the part of the hotel / management. Apart from it - would recommend it for the heritage living experience.

It was real nice experience in The Grange Hotel.. Appreciated the cleanliness and recommended to my friends and family.

A pleasant experience

We stayed in a cozy, cottage-like room that was surprisingly spacious. The room and furniture had a charming vintage feel, and the space was clean and well-maintained. However, the surroundings could be improved, as the area next to our room was used as a dumping room for unwanted electrical items. Although there's no in-house restaurant, a popular hotel with dining options is conveniently located next to the reception. Be prepared for a wait, though - we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a seat. The food prices were also steep. Additionally, we experienced some maintenance issues during our stay, as the heater and phone in our room were not functioning properly. Overall, our stay was average and decent, but not quite worth the ₹5.6k we paid for one night. For that price, you can find better options. On the plus side, the hotel's location is easily accessible.

Perfect place for stay with young kids as the place is located in the heart of Ooty. Main market is at the walking distance of 5 minutes. Good veg hotels are nearby only. Famous junior kuppana ( veg & non veg both) restaurant is within premises of the hotel. Safe place to stay, large open parking area , open premises to take a walk. Family rooms are better than cottages but cottages also good for two adults and two kids.
