“Mahfil-e-Motijheel is an excellent property in Murshidabad. Vast area with beautiful landscaping, lovely location adjacent to Motijheel park, Spacious room (we used super deluxe at f4), nice restaurant with very good food quality. Only area to improve is the service promptness at Motimahal restaurant. Sometime it's boring to wait for hours to get served. But the cordial behaviour of the staff compensates that to a great extent. I must mention the name of owner Mr. Liaquat Ali (on site) and Mr. Yusuf Ali for their personal care for every moment. You may book this in your next trip to Murshidabad without thinking twice. ”

“We were a group of nine staying from 25–28 Dec. The location is superb—walking distance to Hazarduari—and valet parking made arrivals easy. Staff were consistently helpful: they arranged an excellent guide, Biswajit Sinha Roy (Bappa), and coordinated local transport for sightseeing, sparing us the hassle of driving through Murshidabad’s narrow roads. Rooms are large, well-equipped, and clean; bathrooms are spacious and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast had a decent, tasty spread. Areas to improve: - The restaurant menu lists continental items that weren’t available; Chinese dishes could use a flavor upgrade. - Kitchen appears understaffed, leading to slow service—though the restaurant team was courteous and open to feedback. - Providing disposable room slippers would help in the winter chill, as not every guest carries a pair.”
