“The rates are bit expensive and on the higher end. Except for the staying experience, there are few similar Chettinadu houses that are open for public viewing, hence I can choose to stay in an ordinary hotel, come and visit these mansions for a fraction of Rs.50 and get that experience. "Park Hotels" need to review their tariffs. Other than the tariff, I have no other complaints. The staff, the restaurant, the features in the room were all good and met our expectations. Will I go there and stay again... No. ”

“The place itself was comfortable and had all the facilities needed. It was clean and also exactly as the picture advertised. Suitable for foreign tourist (with own transport). The person incharge was also helpful and easy to communicate with. Will return to this homestay in the future. ”

“Fantastic property, exceeded our expectations on many counts. Tranquil hotel and beautiful. Every photograph is post card perfect. Staff are exceptionally well behaved. How ever bound by house rules and would be useful if the same were made known in advance”

“The palace is beautiful and historic, it’s a nice place to stay and you can also get to know the local history and architectures. The staffs are nice and foods are good like home cooking style. We really enjoy our stays here.”

“Good location,comfortable stay,authentic food”

“It’s a great hotel. Location is just away from everything. Once you check in , just chill and enjoy because it’s far from everything else. The staff are super sweet . The food served at high tea is something I didn’t understand. I don’t even understand why they call it high tea. They served tea, coffee and one kind of food (paniyaram) I guess thats what it’s called. The cooking class was good . The pool was good . The rooms are very traditionally decorated and loved it . At lunch there is a lot of non-vegetarian smell all over the corridors, so if there is a pure vegetarian who can not take the smell then it’s better to stay in the room at lunch hours .”

“This is at the city centre. Good place.. only drawback is the expensive food. You’d have to prepared for food charges as all 3 meals are charged at a standard rate. No ala carte available. It comes around 1000+plus tax for 1 pp ”
