“Swosti Chilika Resort is perfectly situated on the banks of Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Its proximity to Chilika’s bird sanctuary makes it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. The resort’s architecture combines traditional Odia elements with modern luxury, and the sprawling gardens add to the resort’s charm. The rooms and cottages are thoughtfully designed, offering spacious layouts, modern amenities, and private balconies or patios with scenic views. A little more attention to detail during housekeeping could elevate the guest experience even further. The on-site restaurant impresses with its variety, featuring both local Odia delicacies and international cuisines. The seafood dishes, in particular, stand out for their freshness. We thoroughly enjoyed the food there and can say that it was easily one of our favourite part of the vacation. The guided tour we booked to Nalabana Bird Sanctuary & Maa Kalijaj Temple was thoroughly enjoyable, especially because we were accompanied by an extremely knowledgeable nature enthusiast to guide us. Finally, The resort staff is courteous and helpful. A slight improvement in response time during busy periods could make the service feel even more seamless.”
