“This was good placement in Flores- near restaurants , can walk over to Flores island or take Tuk Tuk or boat over to island or to San Miguel for 10-15 quetzals . I preferred staying away from the island and going over. Hotel was clean, large rooms, aircon, breakfast if you want and drinking water readily available throughout the property. TV, nice swimming pool , hammock and just really nice place to chill. Staff attentive and helpful. ”

“I can’t praise this hotel enough. Until I arrived to this hotel, I had largely felt like a walking, talking ATM in Guatemala, and was largely disappointed by the country even though I had really wanted to love it. However, on every interaction with this hotel made me feel genuinely appreciated and welcomed as a guest. Firstly, the allowed me to change the dates of my stay by a day without charge. On arriving, the allowed me to check straight in as the room was available, even though it was before the check in time. The room itself was super clean with great aircon (a rarity I didn’t even get at a different hotel almost 5x the price) as well as exceptionally affordable and well located. Literally 100m or so from the I love Peten (Yo Amo Petèn) sign that most shuttles pick up and drop off guests to. It has a great view of the lake from the third level and has a currency exchange and many restaurants nearby. On top of everything, the most standout feature was the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Both the owner and the front office staff made a point to remember my name and say hello anytime they seen me. I also witnessed them doing this with other guests. To make it easier they also both speak English and will help in any way they can. It truly is a wonderful place to stay and I can’t thank you enough for restoring my faith in Guatemala.
