“Last minute trip to York so chose this hotel due to price and short drive to the park and ride! Room was sufficient for what we needed but WiFi didn’t work the second night. We reported it and were told to just keep trying but it wasn’t to be! No big deal to us but maybe to others as mobile phone signal wasn’t great on ground floor so couldn’t use phone internet either! ”

“Breakfast was overcooked and stood too long. Inedible black pudding, sausages. Toaster caught fire! No case rack in the room so the cases were on the floor. No meet and greet in the spa so we got no guidance or complimentary drink. Had to find own salt for footspa as there was no staff at the desk. Music was turned down for the comfort of one couple who were sat under a speaker. Quiz was good. 3pm check out too late. 10.30 checkout too early.”
