“Location was great, breakfast was good and hot and fresh when came to the table. Thought the room was ok on first impression but on inspection was disappointing. There were big cracks on the wall and ceiling, walls needed repainting. Pedal bin in bathroom was broken and the sink was ridiculous, every time we used it especially for brushing teeth, the water took ages to go down so there was a blockage somewhere. Paint and some plaster had come off the wall and a hole where the doorknob had been bashing into the bathroom wall. If we had stayed longer than 2 nights I would have asked to change rooms. Staff were very friendly and when checking out we told the receptionist about the room, she just wrote it all down but did apologise. Would not stay here again unless rooms upgraded ”

“Lovely comfortable stay. The hotel is in a great location across the river from the RSC. Added benefit of having Bistro Pierre on site with guests enjoying 10% discount on all food and drinks.”

“Clean, spacious accomodation. Breakfast good though aittle haphassard. Had to wait for food to be refilled. Too many visitors came at the later end of breakfast window all at once. Perhaps you need look at attendance at breakfast time window!”

“Very conveniently located near to town centre easily accessible on foot. Choice of breakfast items which are brought to your room at the time you decide. Comfortable room and bed and private bathroom. There is a private parking space but you need first to park in a nearby street so you can be shown where to go. ”

“Very busy check in but they were efficient in trying to check in people , unfortunately some of the bar staff are very miserable and not friendly and this isn’t the first time, such a shame as everything else is good.”
