“My husband and I stayed her on the 19th of September 2026, we had booked a room for 2 but upon arrival we found 1 towel and 1 cup in the room. We ended up having to leave at 2.30 in the morning as the occupant in the room next to us was playing music extremely loudly. There are no staff on the premises in order to rectify any problems you may have at the time. Parking on the street is avaliable however the street is very narrow ”

“We enjoyed our time at Hempstead House. The facilities were of a good standard, but somewhat dated. Our room was an upgrade to a standard room. It was spacious but retained a lot of the humidity due to the warm weather incurred over the July summer. Ventilation was sparse - no air conditioning (windows opening into the main courtyard only). May be something the hotel wishes to consider.”

“Price was good especially as it included breakfast. Room had all the things you needed, iron and ironing board, heater, fan and hairdryer. However did not have enough sockets. Roon was extremely warm and window couid not be opened. Apart from a really dirty chair, the room and bathroom were clean. Shower was great. Check in and out staff and breakfast staff member were lovely. Nightie reception staff was on his mobile phone and did not even acknowledge us. There are a lot of very bare, plain, walls which makes the place feel very clinical sadly. Ample car parking spaces which is always a plus ”
