“Requires a deep clean, the stairs are too steep, there is no lift and the staff are too busy running the bar. Not very helpful about where to park. Although One staff was helpful when he carried my 80 year old Mom’s suitcase up to the room. There is no free parking. Lancaster has poor shopping and poor restaurant choices. ”

“These is the 3rd hotel we stay in UK within this trip (Sep-Oct 23] Would say this is one of the best hotel we stay. Few things to compliment the property operator for keeping the property clean, nice and cozy. The both staff (Diana and Ella) who serve us breakfast every morning were excellent and demonstrating great hospitality. We thank them for their friendliness! And environment is so peaceful with nice bliss from the river. One small area for improvement:- The twin-sharing bed was extremely small. May be it should be upgraded for better customer experience! ”

“Return visit to a lovely hotel with great food & brilliant staff . Didn't use the pool or spa on this occasion. Nice places to visit nearby as well as Lancaster city & it's castle & gaol. Some parts are a bit tired whilst other parts have been refurbished. Overall a nice quiet location to relax with good food & drinks served by helpful friendly staff ”

“This was my fourth stay here. I always choose this place whenever I visit Lancaster. The fast check-in and check-out are very convenient, especially when travelling. In the evening, it’s nice to enjoy some pub food downstairs, and the breakfast is excellent. Since there is a pub below the rooms, it can be a little lively on weekend nights, but it didn’t bother me much. I would definitely love to stay here again next time I come to Lancaster.”

“Late booking probably meant the room was priced more than usual, at *** a night it was too expensive. The room was clean, nice attached pub and great location. No food at the pub, not even coffee, only a small breakfast hamper provided in the room. I would stay again but only at a smaller nightly room charge. ”
