“Oliver and Nelson in the bar and breakfast area were really friendly and helpful to my family.”

“I booked a weekend stay for my birthday driving into the grounds you a greeted with a beautiful building, with a large carpark leading to steps down into the reception where you get a warm and friendly greeting. The Hotel has wood panelling throughout with period decor, the food we had was of a good standard and the Sunday roast looked amazing but we had booked an afternoon tea which was lovely overall we would highly recommend this hotel ”

“I'm a regular user of this place due to work commitments, needing to have good night sleep to be able to work over weekends .. staff very nice and helpful. Room number 1 was very uncomfortable, no soundproofing , the room is the nearest to the main door from reception on ground floor ... All night loud sound opening and closing that exact door. Constant buzzing sound from inside room lighting/pluming. Could not get a proper sleep. Other rooms tried before were OK.”

“Room was adequate for my needs,TV and sink and a comfortable bed”

“The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight issue was that the hot breakfast had been sitting under the lights for a while and the eggs and mushrooms were overcooked. It would have been difficult to overcome this and certainly didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the hotel. ”
