“Stayed here for our 10th anniversary. We have stayed a lot of times at this hotel (around 30 stays) and each time it’s always been great. Good location right on the sea front, clean, good facilities and food. Only downside is the customer service has gone downhill. At previous stays usually a special occasion is marked with something small but thoughtful. This time nothing. Our room was upgraded to the next level room, however the upgrade was the room right across from the lift so very noisy at all hours. Didn’t necessarily bother us as we don’t sleep early but people who do may want to ask for another room. The young girl on reception (4pm 9/4/26) with the attitude problem really needs to be sent on a customer service course to learn how to deal with customers and to gain general people skills if she is going to continue to work in a customer service facing role. Out of all of our stays we have never had an issue before. Hopefully the customer service improves before our next stay. ”

“The hotel is under new ownership and is currently being renovated. Areas that have undergone updating look good, sea facing room was clean tidy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The one disappointing thing from my perspective was there is no breakfast available, but were are plenty of places offering breakfasts in the town a short walk away.”
