“Greeted very nicely warm and welcoming. Very comfy bed, lovely tasty breakfast highly recommended. Would have appreciated previous advice and information regarding booking evening meals at local pub, or local taxi so this can be booked in advance before arrival. I agree that I should of enquired prior to my booking independently of course, nevertheless it was a really delightful stay 🤗”

“Great place to stay in the centre of Diss. Friendly staff. Decent Bar. Ignore poor reviews on other platforms. Ownership has changed. Value for money. Just don't expect it to be on the same level as the Marriot. :) ”

“Lovely olde world hotel. We were in the old stable block which we didn't mind. A couple of negatives, was that we were only supplied with 2 small bottles of water which was obviously for the kettle as it states in the bathroom water not for drinking. We had to ask for more which they willingly did. The TV in the adjacent room was on our internal wall and we could hear it all night. This was ok but it went on until 11.30. We had to bang on the wall to ask for it to be turned down. The bed was very comfy and plenty of hot water. We didn't use the restaurant as we were visiting a relative.”
