“Stayed 1 night while visiting friends in the area. Booked hotel last minute but not disappointed. Lovely welcome and our room was great too! Very cosy and exceptionally clean. We also had a sea view. Had breakfast which was good quality and enjoyed a lovely stroll along the seafront before leaving. Would highly recommend and would book again. ”

“We stayed for one night at this boutique pub with restaurant and rooms. The accommodation was really lovely very stylish, quirky and unique. The food was very good there was an interesting menu with lots of choice. We will definitely visit again . ”

“The staff were very nice, the breakfast was lovely and the rooms were ok. There were quite a few bits of building that needed some TLC - the shower on 2nd floor was hot OR cold. The toilet on this floor needs a new floor and better lock. bathroom on 1st floor was decidedly iffy. The TV signal was great on first night but couldn’t watch it on 2nd night. Mirror held up with crooked screw that was falling off wall. BUT the bed was comfy and the price for two nights was reasonable. I’ve stayed in it a few times when it was called the Beachbrow and still have fond memories of its quirkiness. Miss the residents lounge with its telescope though. Best bit is it’s very handy for town and right opposite beach. ”

“Small, cute and super cosy room was perfect for my visit. Bed was comfortable. Room was well cleaned. Breakfast was included but I am not an early riser so did not make it in time. Check out was at 11:00am which is unusually late, but was absolutely wonderful. A 5 minute walk from the main streets too, and right next to a Dominos for late night munchy enjoyers. Staff were lovely and friendly, especially the security guard who had polite chats to me. They did forewarn me about loud music and kindly provided earplugs, and the music did not disturb my sleep. Downsides is that there's no on-site parking. Apparently the Aldi next door don't like it when you park in there, nor does the Sainsburys. Instead I opted to park in the Train Station across the road. Also, the toilet seat was loose and kept slipping but not a huge deal. I went to visit my friend who lives locally. When I return to see him again, I am deffo staying at Queen Street Tap. Thank you for the lovely stay :)”
