“I own a LPG Gas supply business down on York and travel down there on a regular basis from my home in Newcastle. I usually stay in York area but as I us business out over Driffield way I was looking for somewhere to stay relatively local to the meeting and having past this hotel o numerous occasions I remembered it. One of my colleagues lives in Beverley and she was able to confirm it as a great choice having attended on a number of occasions. Lovely hotel, fantastic and friendly welcome from a really nice young lad and shown to my room with a great double bed that was not only very well appointed but also immaculately clean. The meal I enjoyed on the night was as good as you will get anywhere and compliments must go to the chef and team in the kitchen. Lovely breakfast options and lovely grounds to have a wander around. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any of my business contacts or friends and will definitely make sure to book again when down in the area. John McConkey ”

“We loved the atmosphere in this hotel, guests were around all day as they served drinks, coffee and food throughout the day which gave the hotel a good atmosphere. We did have to complain about one of the main courses and we didn’t feel the choice of mains was particularly as good as we expected but the staff were all so good and helpful made it satisfactory. ”
