“The staff are friendly and helpful, the dog friendly room was perfect, very comfortable bed , 2 comfortable chairs in front of the tv, bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the whole room. Shower was roomy and hot. We had everything we needed. Cooked breakfast was lovely at an extra cost ,booked the previous day. Will definitely return and recommend to others. “We booked a family room for an overnight stay as we where visiting The Forbidden Corner and wanted a brd and breakfast somewhere close by. We arrived after a long day to a fantastic team of staff who where friendly, helpful and welcoming, giving us all the information we needed and showing us to our room. We went straight back down for an evening meal as we had arrived late, food was lovely and we all enjoyed our meal including a childs meal. We where satisfied with the waiting times too. Drinks prices are reasonable, food prices average for a country pub and. good portion sizes. The room was spacious and clean, beds where very comfortable and we where very impressed with the fridge in the corridor for milk and bottled water etc, plenty of tea and coffee supplies. Breakfast was wonderful and set us all up for the day, good choice available and service was great. We didn't feel rushed as check out time for the room was 11am so gave us time after breakfast to organise ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend this pub/bed and breakfast without hesitation and will most likely be booking again in the future. It was a great spot for exploring Yorkshire, we headed to Richmond after leaving which was a short drive away and a beautiful place to visit, then to Aysgarth falls and Kettlewell on route back home, both of which places we also loved. Thank you for making it a weekend to remember, memories like these are so precious and I'm sure we'll be talking about this weekend for years to come. ”
