“We stayed two nights for a wedding. The breakfasts were lovely and our room was very spacious. It was in the middle of a heatwave and whilst there the hotel could not help that they did everything they could to help us feel comfortable in our room . The head housekeeper Marie went out of her way to find another fan for us. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“My wife and I stayed over on a Friday and was quite looking forward to a pleasant evening. We must have been so unlucky as we were given room 11 which as a west facing room was so warm we had to sleep with the window wide open except for the fact it’s directly next to the pub’s generators. Also, the pub staff failed to control the loudest, obnoxious, drunk swearing female that was clearly a regular but spoiled it for everyone except her group in the pub. There were elderly people in there and were clearly uncomfortable with her shouting. The rooms are small but adequate. We never ate due to the female but the food looked quite nice. Shame”

“What a fantastic country pub in a great location. All of the ammenities were in good condition and well maintained and as a bonus there was a fan in the room! 👍🏼 The meals at The Pointer were excellent. No complaints about The Pointer from us. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”
