“Stayed at Avisford Park Hotel near Arundel for a short break. The setting is lovely — peaceful parkland, plenty of space to walk, and only a short drive from Arundel Castle. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool/spa area was a nice bonus. Breakfast was solid. Rooms are spacious enough but the hotel does feel a bit dated in places (corridors and bathrooms especially could do with a refresh). Overall good value for a countryside base if you’re exploring West Sussex and don’t mind a touch of the old-fashioned. Would return for the location and grounds.”

“I was booking accommodation close to mum, I was a bit surprised I was not at my usual Travel lodge. I found out I had booked at another travel lodge across the road at Fontwell . Whilst on this occasion worked out well( the other Fontwell travel lodge, car park as flooded). Only hesitancy with using Agoda to book stay, was how do I check which one I have ended up booking, ”

“The room was basic with tea and coffee supplies. A shower over the bath tub. Thankfully the shower curtain rail was curved so you didn't end up with it sticking to you like cling film. We didn't see any details about WiFi, but had our mobiles so didn't need to make use of it. TV in room with multiple channels. We arrived late Sunday evening so had to check in with the pub staff. There are no lifts so if you have heavy luggage be warned.”
