“Our stay at the Wyndham Alltra Samaná in Las Galeras was a mix of incredible scenery and disappointing service. The hotel's greatest strengths are its stunning location and beautiful beach. The property is surrounded by breathtaking views, and most of the facilities are very well maintained, clean, and visually appealing. It is truly a relaxing place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, the dining experience was a major disappointment. The buffet offered very limited food choices, with little to no beef available throughout our stay. We also made reservations for the hibachi restaurant, expecting it to be a highlight of the trip, but the meal was practically inedible because everything was extremely salty. It was one of the most disappointing meals we've had at an all-inclusive resort. The service was also inconsistent. While there were a few friendly employees, most of the staff seemed to have an attitude and lacked the hospitality and customer service you would expect from a Wyndham property. Guests should feel welcomed, but many interactions felt indifferent or even unpleasant. Overall, I would rate this resort 3 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for a beautiful beach and a well-maintained property, this hotel delivers. However, if good food and warm, professional service are important to your vacation experience, this resort still has significant room for improvement.”
