“조식은 훌륭합니다. 매일 아침 다양한 재료로 정성껏 준비해 주십니다. 주위에 걸을 수 있는 트레킹코스가 가까워서 좋습니다. 하지만 방에서 담배냄새가 너무 나서 괴로웠어요. 다른방은 모르겠지만, 제일 작은방 싱글룸은 담배쩐내가 났어요. 그리고 저는 체격이 외소합니다. 큰사람들은 아주 작은방에 놀라지마세요. 그 이외에는 이 숙소는 최고에요!!!”

“TV 세트가 작동하지 않고 프론트 직원이 이동하기 편한 시간에 다른 방을 제공합니다. 요리를 좋아한다면 집처럼 요리할 수 있는 식기류가 모두 갖춰진 아파트와 같습니다. 체육관 방은 작지만 충분하고 잘 관리되어 있습니다. 아침 식사가 좋습니다”

“We had a good 2 night stay here. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The rooms were a good size, although they didn't have a mini fridge or a kettle. The bathroom was modern. The ambience was lovely as well. Sufficient breakfast was on offer. The big drawback for us was the extremely thin room walls though. We could hear our neighbour listening to his TV all night, people coughing their lungs out in the next room, and a phone ringing so loud in yet another room that we thought every time it was our own phone. I would say if they could sound proof their rooms, it would made for a very lovely B&B. The restaurant attached to the hotel is also excellent. We would probably return again as the location personally works well for us, and the people who work there are pleasant. However do not expect to be right in the middle of Essen or even Kettwig. Having a car is probably a must to get around more easily.”

“Stayed in Essen for the England game in Gelsenkirchen. Good location hotel near the city center. Would recommend for a stay in Essen.”

“(+) Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. (+) Friendly and helpful staffs. (+) A quit neighborhood. (+) There are shops, bakery, cafe and supermarket nearby the hotel. (-) No elevators. Keep in mind that you need to lift your baggage using stairs. (-) The rooms are a bit small including the bathrooms. (-) Limited amenities. Overall, we had a great stay and definitely will stay again someday. Stayed: 29 April - 02 May 2025 (2 Standard Double Rooms with no breakfast)”
