“Nice room w view of the ocean. The tram was very effective transportation to navigate the resort, but we could easily get to the restaurant and pools from our room. We definitely got our exercise! One drawback was that it was next to impossible to get hot water in our shower. We brought it to their attention and they changed the shower head, but didn’t fix the problem. We gutted it out. Our vacation was great. Car rental was key in exploring other beaches and towns. ”

“My husband and I stayed here a couple of nights during our visit to Guanacaste. The villa is located at the end of the Coco Beach area, about a 10 minute walk to some restaurants. It is about a 5 min walk to a public beach. It feels a bit secluded, which is wonderful because it doesn’t have any noise from the street or town. The facilities are humble, but well kept. The breakfast was yummy. The pool is a great little oasis surrounded by beautiful plants. There’s a grill and gazebo by the pool if you’d like to cook. Hotel arranged our airport pick up upon request, for a fee. ”

“I booked this July stay a few months ahead and paid $***/night all in for a “quadruple” room - two rooms in a suite with 4 beds and a mini kitchen. It was a deal and super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, pool is nice, and my kids loved the billiards room. This hotel is pretty basic by US standards but very clean, lovely, friendly staff. It was quiet when we were here - mostly Tico families. Street parking is free outside. I read mixed reviews about Coco, but I thought it was lively. It’s not fancy and not the quietest but highly enjoyable for 2 nights. We had a car and went to Nacascolo beach and it was fantastic. ”
