“Nice room w view of the ocean. The tram was very effective transportation to navigate the resort, but we could easily get to the restaurant and pools from our room. We definitely got our exercise! One drawback was that it was next to impossible to get hot water in our shower. We brought it to their attention and they changed the shower head, but didn’t fix the problem. We gutted it out. Our vacation was great. Car rental was key in exploring other beaches and towns. ”

I never know what exactly to expect when I book at local hotels, but this exceeded my expectations in every category . The facility is either new or in excellent repair. The bed is very comfortable. Nice shower with overhead rainwater. Daily housekeeping. Full breakfast. Lovely staff. Short walk to beach (about five minutes) .Extremely safe. There is a security gate at the entrance to the property and a security guard all night . The rooms are accessed only through a central courtyard area. ”

“I booked this July stay a few months ahead and paid $***/night all in for a “quadruple” room - two rooms in a suite with 4 beds and a mini kitchen. It was a deal and super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, pool is nice, and my kids loved the billiards room. This hotel is pretty basic by US standards but very clean, lovely, friendly staff. It was quiet when we were here - mostly Tico families. Street parking is free outside. I read mixed reviews about Coco, but I thought it was lively. It’s not fancy and not the quietest but highly enjoyable for 2 nights. We had a car and went to Nacascolo beach and it was fantastic. ”
