“My only complaint is that the shower temperature in our rooms was very lukewarm. I understand the water comes from the springs but when you’re paying that much a night you expect to have a hot shower. Do not understand why nothing more is done to provide that as I stated before since it’s a very expensive stay. ”

“Very clean rooms. Hot springs are well made, enjoyed them. Beautiful property. Rooms are not that pleasing, its clean but maybe dated. We stayed there one night. ”

“Fabulous rooms overlooking the volcano. Restaurant staff v helpful especially John at breakfast, but otherwise the main restaurant is a bit soulless. Food is ok but aimed at a North American market. No terrace bar to have evening sundowner drinks is a shame. ”

“The room was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was our wedding/honeymoon and they put so much thought into making it special for us. Mariangel was especially friendly.”

“I had asked for a big bed upon check-in they have me nunber 6 The whole point of staying out here so far from the center was for the view i had a giant tree right in the middle I'm sure eveyone else room was fine I asked to switch they told me that's all they had they gave me a room with 3 beds I didn't need it has this massive windows which is nice I wish I could upload the photos but it wont let me overall i was told it rains a lot so its really rare to see the volcano however i got two beautiful days i had to go outside the property next door to get a clear picture dont recommend #6 giant tree blocking the view The staff was friendly and cooked great breakfast if you have a car this is good place to stay also if you like nature being away from the center ”

“The Arenal Volcano inn is nice. The grounds are well groomed and the breakfast, though basic, is hearty and sufficient. The pool could be bigger and the plastic card on the key fob, that has to be inserted in the slot IN SOME ROOMS, was not explained well, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.”
