“The good: The place is clean and pretty! The cabins are clean and spacious. The property is clean and tidy. The pool is very nice and the ocean view is gorgeous. The free breakfast is nice too! The food was very good. The AC in the room was top notch cold! The bad: The place is far from any entertainment and there are no other options for food or drinks, and the food and drinks at the property are EXPENSIVE! There are cute cats and dogs all around the property. We had a guide walk us through the dirty, not-so-safe trails to the Bora Bora Hotel (about 10 mins) and the next day he demanded we pay for the walk, which wasn’t disclosed beforehand. The beds are HARD, like, no cushion at all, body hurts hard. Be prepared to have a long bumpy trip to the island through very sad/poor areas. The ocean is only turquoise just in front of a couple of the resorts, not everywhere. If you are American, have low expectations of everything and you’ll enjoy your experience. Luxury resorts in Colombia, that I’ve seen so far, are not luxury like Jamaica, Mexico, Belize or anywhere in the USA. ”
