“As I grew up in Locarno, I knew La Palma when it was THE 5 star hotel in Locarno. Meanwhile, the trends have changed and the hotel has adapted nicely. The rooms are comfortable, just right for a 4 star hotel. We had a nice lake view room with a terrace. I would like to highlight the delicious breakfast with great variety of food. The staff was very nice, at front office (the lady from Como helped us with some insider tips for Como) and at breakfast. There was a senior waiter who looked after a loyal elder lady (who apparently just turned 100), it was so sweet. Yes, I would definitely return to La Palma au Lac.”

“Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, das Hotel ist modern und die Lage hervorragend – weniger als 5 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Frühstück im europäischen Stil war gut und es gab immer wieder neue Gerichte. Ich würde in Zukunft sicher wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.❤️”

“Overall good rooms are older but ok bit small for larger people. Staff friendly and helpful. Would book again if i going back to Locarno.”

“The room was very small, no table. The bathroom was for designed for physicaly challenged people, not so convenient in my case. Service was impeccable though.”

“La bâtisse a l'air flatteuse mais les chambres sont tout juste correctes en taille, la literie n'est pas bonne et il y a un bruit d'eau du au système de chauffage jour et nuit ... Le petit déjeuner est plus que limité.. Le personnel lui est très accueillant et serviable, le parking super pratique, l'emplacement fait que l'on peut aller à pied à la Piazza Grande (10mn) .. La destination "Suisse" est cher n'hésitez as à repasser en Italie pour la restauration par exemple dans le petit village de Cannobbio à 25min ...”
