Al Pozz Boutique Resort

Al Pozz was better than expected in so many ways. The room and view of the lake was spectacular. The breakfast setting and food was terrific. Dinner was great too. The staff were very attentive and courteous. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, right in the heart of Locarno, with easy access to everything! Nice breakfast with attentive service every morning, which is only made better by the view of the lake as you enjoy the freshly baked cornettos and delicious coffee on offer. There are certainly other hotel options in the area but we prefer to stay at Al Pozz when we come to Locarno. Always a pleasant experience!

First time visiting Locarno and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! We had the most welcoming hosts at this family-run hotel — everyone was always smiling and helpful from our arrival to our departure, and they were all working hard from early morning until late in the evening to make sure guests were taken care of! Amazing location, the train dropped us off just steps from our hotel. Beautifully laid out room with a terrace offering incredible views over Lago Maggiore and the debarcadero area from where we took a nice afternoon cruise on the lake. Easy to walk to anywhere! The bottle of complimentary red wine from Ticino was a nice surprise in our room and we enjoyed it on the terrace on a rainy evening. We got much needed rest and woke up to birdsong, sunshine and fresh air from the lake every morning. We loved being in the heart of Locarno, at this boutique hotel and will come back!
