“Beautiful place, filled with history and great food. House is a piece of art and welcomes all guest with cozy, wooden bedrooms with an astonishing view of mountains and meadows. Staff is nice and helpful. Cleanliness is on the high level. Pets friendly - which is a huge advantage. Food gives one of the best impressions of Swiss. We really enjoyed founde and local dishes. I highly recommend this place and thanks for having us.”

“Everything was OK. The location is excellent, situated in the middle of the three cable cars. This made it very easy to explore. The only downside I experienced was that the bed linens and towels had a very strong smell of detergent. While it's great to have clean linens, the scent was a bit overwhelming and detracted slightly from the comfort of the stay. ”

“Do not stay here. The staff is rude, rooms are dilapidated, and I was overcharged not once, but twice. The man at the front desk was extremely rude when I checked in. I was also told the room I booked was not available so they had to give me a smaller, lower quality room. He then charged me for the small room even though I had already paid double the price for the original room. I noticed that an hour later so I was able to get a refund. However, they would not give me my money back for me having prepaid for the nicer room, saying “they don’t know what Agoda is, we don’t work with them”. I submitted a complaint and dispute with Agoda and the hotel still refuses the refund the difference. Kandersteg in general I don’t recommend visiting. ”
