“We stayed here because we attended a wedding and the reception was at this facility. We had breakfast at Canto restaurant on site and it was excellent both times. The area is quiet and a great place to go for a walk. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again”

“The property is miles out of town (Toronto) From the CN Tower, we walked a good mile, took a street car, then an underground and then a bus to get to it so if you want to be close to the attractions, this is not the place to be. The property consists of the owners ground floor apartment and 2 further floors up steep steps with rooms. As we walked in, the whole place smelled of fish. The owners had obviously just cooked a meal. The property description led me to believe that I had booked a small apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. NOT so. It was a room with 2 double beds. The bed bases had no feet and were just placed on the floor. The kitchen and bathroom were shared. I don't know which bathroom is in the photo's on Agoda but it's not the bathroom I used! The whole place is filthy. Who ever the handy man is needs telling he is crap at his job! The place has been stuck together with tape and bits of wood and nails. The property description is absolutely misleading and nothing like the photos. The only thing it had going for it is, the beds had clean sheets although just a base sheet and a throw. I had to take the base sheet off one of the beds to use as a top sheet because I wasn't sure the throw hadn't been used before us! One last thing, Netflix didn't work as advertised. My advice, if you want a reasonably priced room for the night, try the hostels, at least they are clean and well kept. This place was a dump. We had brief interaction with the owners who were nice but obviously oblivious to how a rental place should be. No point complaining to Agoda as its in the small print that they accept no responsibility for what is advertised on their platform. I shall never use Agoda again, ever.”
