“There are a few reasons for my low rating, but the place isn't awful, so I'm trying to look beyond the major issue, which was a dirty "spot" (use your imagination) on the blanket between the sheet and comforter, and the "gunk" in the mini coffee maker. Thankfully, I always inspect them before use so I didn't consume it. I can't imagine! No clue what it was but it was white and slimy (again, use your imagination). Aside from that, the room rest of the room was clean, as were the pool, hot tub, sauna, and other guest areas. The grounds are very well kept with a nice "backyard" area with comfy chairs and even a hammock, which I personally enjoyed while listening to the sounds of nature (and traffic lol). It was quite hot and muggy during our stay so our room felt muggy. We cranked the AC to eliminate the mugginess. The breakfast is continental style, not a hot breakfast, but it's better than nothing. Almost forgot! The loud banging on the floor of the unit above us wasn't great, but we chalked it up to little kids having fun and playing so we didn't complain. Be sure to book on the second floor if you don't want to hear the party above you. Overall, our stay was comfortable and the staff was accommodating, though the male manager on shift didn't seem to think the "spot" on the blanket was a big deal. I didn't bother complaining about the coffee maker, just left a note for the cleaning staff. I suppose I'd stay again if something better wasn't available. But definitely wouldn't be my first choice. I really don't like to leave bad reviews but I believe in getting what I pay for. Cleanliness is expected every single time, no exceptions. ”
