“The price of the hotel was great, located within walking distance of the beach and mercado market the roo.s were very spacious but lacking in comfortable furniture. The living room area had a leather sofa that was super hard with no pillows for lounging. There is no TV in the sitting area. The only TV is on a side wall in the bedroom. The TV would be better served in the living area. Unfortunately we found the floors to be very dirty. Not sure when they were washed last. Within 5 minutes of having a shower the bottom of your feet were black which of course got carried over into the beds. Breakfast is your basic brazillian affair, bread and pastries, fruit, yogurt, ham and cheese, scrambled eggs, weiner and pepperoni.”

“I am in an hotel 200+ nights/year. Intercity doesn’t look like much on the outside but the professional staff (including Natasha), super clean and quiet rooms are a great value. Intercity is 10 mins walk from historic downtown and 100 meters from dozens of restaurants at Armazen. Just up from the hotel is a great supermarket and great coffee house. ”
