“The airport shuttle experience was very disappointing. Before my arrival, I specifically told the hotel that I could not make international phone calls and asked whether I could contact them through the accommodation app chat after collecting my luggage. The hotel clearly replied, “Yes, absolutely,” and told me that the reception team would monitor the chat closely and arrange the pickup as quickly as possible. I followed those instructions exactly. After collecting my luggage at night, I sent a message asking for the shuttle and where I should wait. I waited for more than 10 minutes without receiving a response. As I was traveling alone at night and did not know where or how long I was supposed to wait, I eventually arranged and paid for a taxi myself. What was even more disappointing was the response at reception. When I explained what had happened, I was repeatedly told that I should have called and that it was not their fault. This directly contradicted the instructions the hotel had given me in writing before my arrival. If the accommodation app chat cannot be monitored reliably for shuttle pickups, guests should simply be told in advance that a phone call is required. I would not have waited at the airport expecting a shuttle if I had been given accurate information.”

“This is my 3rd time staying here, outstanding for this kind of money, the breakfast buffet is some of the best i have seen at this level. I have eaten here for evening meals as well, very good quality all the way through and a decent selection of beers on tap, a must in Belgium.”

“Easy place to stay, in a small village which seems to be asleep by 8.30pm. Convenient for Charleroi airport. Having a small kitchen was nice, even if I didn't use more than the kettle, fridge and a plate. I didn't see anyone else whilst there, but the hosts did communicate fairly quickly by email. ”

“空港から行くにには少し不便で、歩くと1時間かかります。冬だと途中の道も薄暗く、風も強く寒かった。宿泊の際は迎えに来てもらうようにした方がいいです。ただオーナーは優しく、いい人でした。良かったです。 ただお風呂の湯の温度が低く風邪ひきそうでした。暖房もないので、かなり寒かったです。そこだけが残念でした。 でもオーナー親子は優しく、いい人でした。”
