“I was impressed with everything at this hotel until the next morning and I was “told off” by the breakfast staff for making three small bread rolls to take away. Ok, I now understand they don’t like you to do that as they want to charge 15 euro per person extra for a “lunch box”. But, the guy didn’t need to make such a big deal about it. He could have just quietly mentioned to me he doesn’t want me to do that. Instead, he sort of made a scene and an example in front of other guests and kept going on about it. So, I will not rebook this hotel and would not recommend. It’s a shame as the lady on the front desk when we checked into the hotel was wonderful. One staff member who doesn’t know how to properly handle a concern with a guest will ruin the whole experience. This was especially silly as it was just me and my two young daughters (who barely ate anything for breakfast). So unnecessary. ”
