I was impressed with everything at this hotel until the next morning and I was “told off” by the breakfast staff for making three small bread rolls to take away. Ok, I now understand they don’t like you to do that as they want to charge 15 euro per person extra for a “lunch box”. But, the guy didn’t need to make such a big deal about it. He could have just quietly mentioned to me he doesn’t want me to do that. Instead, he sort of made a scene and an example in front of other guests and kept going on about it. So, I will not rebook this hotel and would not recommend. It’s a shame as the lady on the front desk when we checked into the hotel was wonderful. One staff member who doesn’t know how to properly handle a concern with a guest will ruin the whole experience. This was especially silly as it was just me and my two young daughters (who barely ate anything for breakfast). So unnecessary.

We had a fantastic time at the Hotel. The location was perfect and the facility in general Also, the staff were very helpful. However ,the coffee machine was often broken during breakfast especially when late. Overall the experience was excellent.

Excellent hotel, Aalst is a lovely town which is on your doorstep and has everything you need. 7 min walk to the train station and is central to Ghent and Brussels.

Perfect Stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Aalst.Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The staff were friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. The hotel was peaceful, and the facilities were excellent. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the overall atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future!

A great hotel and I’d happily stay again.
Stayed at The Tower Hotel in Aalst recently and it was a really good experience. The room was spotless, the bed was genuinely comfortable, and the bathroom was both very clean and surprisingly spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Location-wise it’s ideal — shops and restaurants are just around the corner, and it’s an easy walk to loads of places in town. Overall, a great hotel and I’d happily stay again. Highly recommended.
