“NO LIFT so you need to drag heavy suitcases up and down flights of stairs. Room was spacious and very clean, lovely pool, huge free laundry, secure car park”

“We needed a pet friendly hotel while passing through. There’s a lot of rules that you have to sign off on when checking in that make this place feel unwelcoming and not pet friendly at all. ”

“I want to leave a bad review so that this is available next time I go back! But I can only say good things. I have been walking past this for years, but it has never been available, so when it was for this trip, I quickly booked. And I am so glad that I did. Great size 2 bedroom apartment with a stunning view of The Strand. We loved having access to a full kitchen and the space to spread out as we stayed 5 nights. There was some street noise as expected, but honestly the birds were noisier. The other units were quiet and so much space in the whole complex. Washing machine and dryer available for $5 /load, clotheslines, BBQ and picnic tables outside. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the grounds were kept clean and tidy. We will absolutely book again. ”

“Property was great as always. Comfortable and clean room. Much nicer than some nearby. Value a little down due to the much higher prices this year over supercars weekend, but still enjoyed the stay. ”

“The staff at this motel are very lovely. Thanks heaps jeff, and thanks heaps for Ur advice and helping me and my family in bad situations. ”

“I loved staying here, beautiful comfy bed. Best sleep after a long day. Tanya at reception was lovely, helpful and attentive. I will return for sure if staying in Townsville again!”

“Friendly and welcoming ”

“We were looking for a place to stay in the city for 2 nights close to Christmas with short notice. This hotel was very well priced so we thought we would give it a go. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. ”

“Location was great and close to our grandkids. Cabin was everything we needed. A bit steep to charge the grandkids $15 each to use the pool and play ground. Maybe $5 to $10 would be fine. But all round we would stay there again. ”

“Nice room. Very clean . Friendly staff . ”
