“After reading several reviews, I was initially worried due to numerous comments about the rooms being dirty, noisy, and the beds uncomfortable. However, needing just a one-night stay and given its cheap price, I decided to take the risk. Contrary to my expectations, I was pleasantly surprised to find the room tidy and clean, with comfortable beds. We were provided with three types of towels per person (bath, hand, and face) along with soaps and shampoos. They even supplied two extra pillows. The night was quiet, allowing me, a light sleeper, to rest soundly. The room included a microwave, kettle, and mugs, all of which were very clean. Since I read the reviews carefully, I brought my own paper plates and cutlery, knowing these wouldn't be provided and the restaurant hadn't yet opened for breakfast. Although the room showed its age with some stains on the carpet and dated furniture, and there was minor mould in the bathroom, truth to be told, I don't care since these were minor issues given my short stay. Reading the reviews, I realised that Western travellers often have high expectations even for budget accommodations and frequently complain about minor issues LOL. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and swift. Thank you, Settlers Inn!”

“Only down fall was the dishes, almost every 2nd plate, mug, pots and cutlery was very dirty and stained. Other than than accommodation was great and facility activities were amazing. All free and included, my kids first time kayak ever and on-site lagoon was huge and great for it. ”

“We stopped off for an overnight on a roadtrip, the resort has the appearance of a hostel but very clean, well equipped rooms. There are so many things to do, pool, tennis courts, mini golf and lots of large fake animals around the grounds. Staff are very friendly and helpful ”

“Travelling through. One night stay, very clean room, everything needed for a quick stay. Complimentary snacks. Comfy bed and descent shower. Would stay again. ”

“Great little quiet motel, an older style, but everything you needed to make your nights stay comfortable. Eating places close by for dinner, one within easy walking distance, around 350m, a nice walk after dinner back to motel, The Settlers Inn, and the food is really good😋Five Stars for Port O'Call motel, would stay again if visiting the area again”

“I booked executive room with garden view and my room looked out to parking lot. There is no restaurant. Common area is terrible. It overcharged. More expensive than an resort. It should be a 2.5 star motel rather than 4. The receptionist was nice though. ”

“The place was huge . Plenty of room for 7 people easily. Very clean . Staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend. ”
