After reading several reviews, I was initially worried due to numerous comments about the rooms being dirty, noisy, and the beds uncomfortable. However, needing just a one-night stay and given its cheap price, I decided to take the risk. Contrary to my expectations, I was pleasantly surprised to find the room tidy and clean, with comfortable beds. We were provided with three types of towels per person (bath, hand, and face) along with soaps and shampoos. They even supplied two extra pillows. The night was quiet, allowing me, a light sleeper, to rest soundly. The room included a microwave, kettle, and mugs, all of which were very clean. Since I read the reviews carefully, I brought my own paper plates and cutlery, knowing these wouldn't be provided and the restaurant hadn't yet opened for breakfast. Although the room showed its age with some stains on the carpet and dated furniture, and there was minor mould in the bathroom, truth to be told, I don't care since these were minor issues given my short stay. Reading the reviews, I realised that Western travellers often have high expectations even for budget accommodations and frequently complain about minor issues LOL. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the check-in process was smooth and swift. Thank you, Settlers Inn!

Old rooms but fair price
we had stayed lastyear. rooms are quite old. carpet was fraid and some small amout of mould in shower and bathroom ceiling. However rooms are large and fairly priced compared to other PM properties at this time of year. Linen and towels appeared new and were exceptional like our last visit

Settlers Arms Port Macquarie
Great stopover for a night. Room was huge and everythings there. Restaurant, Pub and accommodation. Reasonalbe price and close to everything else. Staff were great and really helpful. Check in was fast as we had prepaid.

Clean and tidy. Very good for the price and 5 second walk to family friendly pub. Strongly recommend . Don't expect the Ritz , but good value for money.
