“We enjoyed our overnight stay. Our room was compact and comfortable, exceptionally clean with a comfy bed and soft pillows. The shower had good water pressure which was lovely. The room was equipped with everything we needed. The surrounds and gardens were well kept and we sat by the water and enjoyed watching the water birds. The motel is centrally located within walking distance to eateries and supermarkets. We recommend Black Swan Waterfront Motel for short term accommodation at a good price.”

“Often stay here and can't fault it. Your room key is accessible by security code so arrival time is not a concern. Parking is conveniently on site and free. Beds are comfortable and I really appreciate the air conditioner being turned on prior to arrival, following a long drive. ”

“I’ve stayed here before, well refurbished and clean rooms. My only issue is there is no designated parking for room guests. Pub guests can park at your doorstep and you may have to park 100me away in the shopping centre. ”

“On Friday and Saturday evenings we arrived back o our accommodation to find no parking available, and there is no street parking nearby. The management does not designate specific parking for paying guests and allow ordinary pub drinking/dining customers to take the spaces. A complaint was made at reception, but they said that the management doesn't care to do anything about it. So be careful: if you stay here, and go out in the evening, you may find there is nowhere to park and you will have to wait in the carpark for a long time until other pub users leave. Also: the breakfast is poor quality for the price: you are better of going to one of the very good nearby cafes on the Warners Bay esplanade”

“What a gem After staying at sub par hotels and motels in the past week of travel thru NSW, there was the Merewether The ladies at reception were happy, jovial and did a great job. Don't be surprised if they are headhunted Rooms large, v clean, full shaded blinds and quiet. Parking outside your door, especially for bikes. ”

“we had business in Newcastle both north and south of town. Decided to stay in Warners Bay at the Esplinade Motel. right across the street from the bay with a beautiful park and walking track. Was an easy walk into town for dinner. The Hotel was nice large room well appointed. the surprise treat was the hotel had 2 car charging ports so was able to top off my EV without running around to find a charger location. nice touch was an easy, chill place to stay making the business trip a bit easier. ”

“The room was very nice; just like the photos. The shared bathrooms were very clean, with large comfortable showers. Everything was newly and attractively renovated. Having a sink + tea/coffee making facilities in the room was great. Easy walking distance to the train station, with bus stops right outside heading to all the local attractions. No accommodation in Australia is cheap but, compared to alternative options, this is good value and I would definitely stay again for any future visits to Newcastle. ”
