“The location for the motel is fantastic with lots of fast food options for fussy kids. The motel itself is quite good with all the facilities one would need. We booked a family room with 1 queen bed, 1 sofa bed and a single bed. The room had a tv with the option to log into your Netflix account, a microwave, tea coffee facilities and a fridge. They even had a welcome snack with water bottles for the guest. The bathroom was descent with a shower within the bathtub. The bathroom and room were clean but not properly vacuumed so it could be not so appealing for everyone. The swimming pool is small but again enough for the kids to enjoy. Overall a great motel. Would have given higher stars if it was properly vacuumed. ”

“The couple managing this hotel were absolutely fantastic in the way they were able to alter our booking to accommodate an extra guest. We had stayed here before and recalled leaving a jacket in the wardrobe, guess what ? Even though it was 5 weeks later the jacket was there for us to pick up. Great customer service. Well done guys. The close proximity to the fantastic club Maitland is an added bonus.”

“Maddies is exceptional value for a short Hunter valley visit. The place is a short ride from all key attractions. It has a very rustic feel, with its building and furnishings. The room was neat and well kept. Best part was the service. Alison is an excellent host - very professional, and welcoming. My kids really enjoyed their short stay. We would highly recommend it. ”
