“Maddies is exceptional value for a short Hunter valley visit. The place is a short ride from all key attractions. It has a very rustic feel, with its building and furnishings. The room was neat and well kept. Best part was the service. Alison is an excellent host - very professional, and welcoming. My kids really enjoyed their short stay. We would highly recommend it. ”

“The couple managing this hotel were absolutely fantastic in the way they were able to alter our booking to accommodate an extra guest. We had stayed here before and recalled leaving a jacket in the wardrobe, guess what ? Even though it was 5 weeks later the jacket was there for us to pick up. Great customer service. Well done guys. The close proximity to the fantastic club Maitland is an added bonus.”

“Arrived and was put in room 4. It was a stinking hot day, so we put the air con on. After 1/2 hr, no difference. So I spoke to the manager who was good enough to change our room to number3. Put on the air con, and it worked. The problem was, we went out for dinner, came back and the air con fan, on max, would'nt blow out a candle. Being the hour it was, it was too late to do anything about it so had a sleepless night in a hot box! The rest of the stay however was good. Nice and clean and comfortable ( except Netflix, etc would'nt boot up), also the staff were friendly. Perhaps an air con service or replacement is in order. ”
