“Around a 10-15 min walk or quick drive into the centre of Halls Gap. The lounge areas and kitchen facilities are very nice, kept clean and comfortable. I stayed in a private room and shared bathroom. Comfortable and well appointed. Staff are on site a few hours of the day for check-in 3pm-6pm and in the mornings for those checking-out, however you can download the YHA Explorer App for convenient mobile check-in from 3pm. As the reception is only staffed several hours of the day, there's no secure place to store baggage if you arrive early, so that would be the one thing I'd take into account if I had a lot of luggage.”
