“absolutely massive room. The view isn't the most picturesque, but the room is amazing. huge bed, excellent mattress, enormous bathroom. There is an awkwardness about it, though. The room being so big, the TV is too far from the bed to be watched comfortably (at least with old eyes). The bathroom is enormous, yes, but the toilet is wedged in by the bathroom counter so you (I) bang my knees against it when I use it. The positives outweigh these minor negatives, though. spa bath was great (didn't realise we were getting a bath--wonderful after a long day of hiking), the inclusions (cereal, milk, yoghurt, etc.) were nice, too. location is next door to a bottle shop and a short walk to several restaurants and the beach. Wish I had booked two nights there instead of just the one.”

“Stayed a Saturday so noisy for awhile. View was out to the loading docks on the wharf area and room was the last down the corridor so smokers went out to smoke which meant they could look in our room if blind wasn't down and smoke wafted in. When I checked in it wasn't clear what to do regarding the continental breakfast so went down to resturant and was told this would generally be brought up to room so ordered and delivered quickly. Was more than what we expected. Room size was best we have had and price was real good with breakfast being included. Able to walk to penguins. Meal for dinner was ok but surprised tou couldn't get a salad as meal was parmigiana with chips or veggies. Looked for salad on the menu. In saying this the servings were huge. All in all it was great. Would recommend.”

“Room was clean and tidy, staff did a great job of booking us in, location was central. Biggest issue was the winter quilt on the bed, don't like sleeping with the a/c on as it dries out my sinus's. It was too cold for just a sheet and too hot with the winter quilt in February..”

“Spontaneous solo traveller, arrived late.. had staff on site to help with checking-in which was great. Room 15 was hard to open and would've been a problem if Liam didn't help with that. Other than that, this is pretty much what I expected when I booked a motel. Car parking right in front of room which was convenient, clean sheets and fridge to cool down my drinks by the morning when I headed back onto the road. Always after a good deal, and this was most value for money round this parts, can't complain. Facilities are a bit old but has everything you'd need. ”
