absolutely massive room. The view isn't the most picturesque, but the room is amazing. huge bed, excellent mattress, enormous bathroom. There is an awkwardness about it, though. The room being so big, the TV is too far from the bed to be watched comfortably (at least with old eyes). The bathroom is enormous, yes, but the toilet is wedged in by the bathroom counter so you (I) bang my knees against it when I use it. The positives outweigh these minor negatives, though. spa bath was great (didn't realise we were getting a bath--wonderful after a long day of hiking), the inclusions (cereal, milk, yoghurt, etc.) were nice, too. location is next door to a bottle shop and a short walk to several restaurants and the beach. Wish I had booked two nights there instead of just the one.

Huuuge renovated rooms. Super clean, well equipped with a kitchen, and large bathroom. The bed was large, although it sank as time went on. So not fantastic if you need a better support for your back. Right in the middle of Burnie and a short walk to the penguins. It’s a walk up hotel so not suitable if you cannot carry bags upstairs. I’m glad we stayed there.

Our family, 2 couples, booked two rooms at this hotel based on reviews and location. Great decision! Rooms were exceptionally spacious and clean. Sheets and bedding were crisp, mattresses comfortable. We liked the in room breakfast of cereals, coffee, teas
