“Decent size of room for the price, good location, not very noisy, friendly staff but.... it is ashame that the room have a very strong smell of urine combined with desinfectant. Soon as I opened the door, the smells of it were very strong and had to leave the door and all the ventilation stay open for good hour to let the air circulate the room and hoping it was just the strong smell of disentinfectant, but it was not. The urine smells was still lingering until the next day.”

“Pros: Friendly and helpful owners. The air conditioning appears to be new and worked well. A microwave is provided in the room. Bedding was very clean, and I did not notice any bed bugs or cockroaches. Cons: The door lock did not feel particularly secure. There was an unpleasant smell in the room. The toilet and shower had some noticeably dirty areas, and the shower gel container was empty. There was a very large gap in the door connecting to the adjoining room, which affected privacy and noise insulation. The sofa is not very clean.”

“An overnight stay prior to a hospital admission, and it was perfect for what we needed. Our check in took all of 30 seconds, our room was clean, and well appointed. The only, very minor, issue we discovered was that the bedside power points wouldn’t charge our phones, which was a bit annoying when we were relying on them for the alarm. Other than that, all was well, and would happily stay here again.”

“Avoid this motel unless it’s an absolute last resort. We witnessed a room being “cleaned” after guests checked out where the cleaner replaced towels and vacuumed, but left the same sheets on the bed from the previous guests. That completely destroyed our confidence in the cleanliness. To make it worse, our room had ants everywhere across the floor and even crawling up our legs. When I raised it and asked for help, the manager (Harry) was rude and unhelpful. I asked if he could return to the motel to address the issue and he refused, saying it wasn’t his job. When I asked to change rooms, I was told I’d have to pay extra to move, which is ridiculous given the problem was cleanliness/pests. They offered a refund, but Albury was fully booked so we had no real choice. The website also appears misleading I paid extra for a “queen room” and then was told it basically doesn’t exist, and the room types advertised don’t match what you actually get. I won’t be staying here again.”

“The cabin was comfortable and warm with a r/c aircon. Although near a busy road, we weren’t affected by traffic noise & it was a quiet environment in the park as it neighboured a retirement community. A shopping centre was a few minutes drive away, less than 15 minutes to the centre of Albury. The cabin was very clean and the bed comfortable.”

“Put a night here when we are on our way to Canberra. Strategy location just out of the highway you can see Astor. We really relax n enjoy our stay there. Don't forget to get a cold beer there :)”
