It is our second visit. We returned because of the charm of the property, gardens and staff. It is a glorious slice of history with cavernous veranda and communal lounge area. With just the four rooms don’t be surprised if you have rarely encounter the other guests. But likewise there is no food service (other than breakfast) or night porter so do be prepared. We love the seclusion and the space. It is both quiet and romantic. Megan, the house manager, is gifted at making you feel welcome … It’s a truly special place to stay
