Wish we could have stayed longer

Crown Plaza Salalah Resort is a solid well run hotel. The dining options are varied and enjoyable. Our only complaint was that on three evenings cigarette smoke was entering our bathroom, although we were in a non-smoking room. Several staff members came and were unable or unwilling to find the culprit. However, on the day we checked out, the staff member at the front desk informed us that they ultimately found who was smoking in their room.

The stay here was ok. The staff were exceptional, particularly Anayet, Nada and Darshaha and the staff and chefs in Ocean Blue and Barouk. We were given a room upgrade, flowers and fruit basket bought to our room. the service was exceptional. However in terms of the hotel and it being a Crowne Plaza, the rooms were quite dated and old. Our room was turned from a twin to a double but it was literally the two beds being closer, and it looked weird as the headboards were fixed to the walls. The pool bar wasn't open although it was meant to be 'in-season' with a high occupancy at the hotel. Location is not bad, however you cannot book a local taxi through the app to pick up from the hotel - you can get dropped off but not picked up, and if you were to order a taxi from the hotel, it would be 3-4 times what the taxi apps show from the road - so if you want to wander around from the hotel, you have a really long walk and there is not much to do around there without being able to easily grab a taxi. For a crowne plaza resort, and one of the highly rated hotels in Salalah when searching, I did expect more a lot more in terms of the hotel - however the staff and the service was great.

Nice stay with friendly helpful staff especially mr.faysal from housekeeping and mr.Atef and mr.mark and mr.nyma from restaurant.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent from the moment I walked in. The staff were highly professional and warm, and I truly felt genuine hospitality throughout my stay. We also tried the Lebanese restaurant, and the food was really delicious — great prices and generous portions. The staff there were all friendly and helpful, especially Loai, who was respectful, easygoing, and kept us laughing the whole time 😄♥️ The hotel’s prime location in Salalah also made it easy to reach the main attractions. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay and excellent service ♥️♥️♥️♥️
