This hotel is reflected as a three star hotel on the internet but they are in the bracket of a 5 star hotel, specifically with their close attention to detail. The staff are both extremely friendly and professional. Every need is sorted out and in very quick time. From the beautifully looking hotel to the cozy areas, the pristinely trimmed gardens, lovely pool and clean and very neat rooms, I highly recommend this hotel in Bloemfontein. As someone who has visited many different type of establishments , this hotel is indeed a cut above the rest.

We stayed over for a night on our way home from holiday. We received a very warm welcome and friendly service from reception, the hotel is perfectly located with direct access to Mimosa mall for a variety of dining and shopping options, the pool was a added bonus on the warm day we arrived. Breakfast was great with good variety and friendly service. This will be our go to stop over going forward.

My stay at southern sun was exceptional, the staff are very well trained, professional, helpful and extremely friendly. The design of the hotel cuts out city noise and the courtyard resonates with the sounds of all the different bird species. The beds are very comfortable and amenities great. Had a fantastic dinner, the food is five star. Great overall experience definitely value for money.
