My review is based on our experience for the one night. At check-in we were told that the heating would have to be turned on when we entered the room. This did not sound good as we would have thought heating would be on already as it was a freezing day. When we got to the rooms, through a freezing cold passage, the only form of heating was a (in my case) a very old and dilapidated a/c unit and my friend’s room an old but not dilapidated a/c unit. There were no instructions to control these units. Eventually we managed to find the heating mode. My friends was semi-ok and pumped out warm air. My unit was pathetic and having complained to the management I was told that I would have to wait for it to warm up!!! We were scheduled to visit the Ballet in Granada and the thought of stripping off and changing clothes was out of the question and time was limited. Once again, the response from the management was “Wait and see”. Also, the thought of using the shower in either bedroom (night or morning) was impossible due to the lack of any heating. My friend’s room started to show some form of warmth but not what you would expect from a 2 star hotel. Our room was equipped with two blankets and it wasn’t long before we realised why. It was time to go to the Ballet so we left our rooms hoping they would be better heated when we got back. When we got back we were greeted by the night staff who said that we cold change our room. At last, an omission – “the unit was broken”. This room had a better a/c unit and in the end it struggled to heat the room to some form of comfort but it was still necessary to sleep with our clothes on. Having changed rooms, we offered our blankets from our original room to our friends who found them very beneficial. Having got through the night we went to the restaurant for breakfast only to find everyone in overcoats and bodywarmers!!!. What is it with trying to provide some form of comfort??? THESE HOTELS MUST PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE.

Ok for the price, drive a fair bit to Alhambra. Only issue was the stairs with my big lugguage
