More of a hostel sort of vibe. Private rooms, but mattress on the floor. Basic room, short walk to beach, hidden away location. I would go back just for the laid back atmosphere.

From the moment I arrived I felt looked after and supported in everything I wanted to do. The place is well back from the beach so charming and relaxing. Surf was perfect for me 👌🏻 if you prefer a beach break the water is shallow enough far out for a long and satisfying ride. Highly recommend

The place is nice, but when I was there, they were building new cottages and the area was a bit messy and the swimming pool dirty. The staff is very nice. The breakfast not very healthy, just some sweet snacks. The owner is too focused on the money, he complained about the low price of the rental board (but it is 3 times more expensive than on a store next to the beach), and he also tried to charge me a broken leash, when it got broken because it was old. The room has a fair price, specially if traveling with someone else, but a bit far from the beach, there are closer options at similar price. And I would rent the board on the beach store (where all the locals rent it).

This is a place that you can come and learn to surf the universe. It’s a very small village. Don’t expect much expect very quiet living. Expect a small beach or actually the beach is really big and it’s one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen expect great food. Expect really good prices and expect to meet people from all over the world That have great wisdom. I would like to complement specifically Ryan the manager who is one of the most honorable and strong men I have ever met. He’s not only a certified as a surf rescue person but he’s actually someone that’s giving great service in the military. He is a world champion surfer and an amazing yoga instructor. They’re doing some renovations now but soon they will have more facilities and a beautiful swimming pool and a store and this is also a place that works with all of the restaurants locally that you can find out about things it’s super there’s many many other places to stay And everyone in this town as friends but this is this is something that if you come to this place, you must respect it. This is not to become overrun. This is not for any western Karen’s or for judgment. This is not a place for the four seasons hotel. This is a setback in time that’s special and it shall be preserved. Thank you very very much. The owner is a really good businessman and he’s got really strict rules. This is not a place that you can stay with a woman if you are not married and respect that if you come with a woman that you’re not married to you must get two separate rooms.. respect that that is their way you’re in their house. Be lucky that you’re invited into such a wonderful place. Follow their rules. Do not impose a western way on this place or you will not have a good time
