we arrived at the hotel and found out that we didn't have connecting rooms as they are called interleading rooms in S. Africa. We finally got our room on the club floor and they were connecting. The connecting room set up that we were given was a handicapped room with a caregiver's room.. It suited our need and we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast downstairs was order off the menu and it meant anything so we were stuffed. We tried the breakfast on the club floor but it had lukewarm dishes and wasn't great so that's why we went downstairs to the main dining room. We had dinner there and the food was good. We had tasty lamb chops and several African dishes which were all palate pleasing. The pool was outside and was not heated so that was cold. The indoor pool is only available with a spa treatment or additional cost in not used with a treatment. The pool was like an oversized hot tub. Dina in the dining room was our server and she was excellent...trained by her mom, the manager but we didn't know that until I called the manager over to compliment her on having Dina as our server. As they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The hotel is convenient to the airport and has a complimentary shuttle. The hotel is linked to the casino and a whole host of restaurants and bars, as well as the convention center. I would return if I come to Johannesburg again.

Beautiful Old World Charm
Such a beautiful hotel with a fantastic foyer and restaurant/ bar. The pool area outside is pretty impressive as well. The rooms are average in size, but adequate. Some of the power points weren't working in our room and I definitely DID NOT rate the pillows. But it's a beautiful place and very convenient to the airport. Would I stay here again? Yes!

Stay at Peermont D’oreale Grande
We stayed for 1 night at this hotel, having been traveling in several locations across Africa. The hotel is wonderful, a great place to stay and unwind before returning to the USA the following day. There are plenty of restaurants adjacent to the hotel, casino to keep one occupied, beautiful outdoor pool and very comfortable and spacious room. Convenient shuttle to/from airport. Highly recommend.

The hotel is part of a larger convention and casino complex near Tambo airport. Comfortable room and beds, good restaurant and bar. Nicely decorated throughout. Conveniently located near airport.
