The Cycad Lodge & Chalets

Hubby and I absolutely loved our stay at Cycad Lodge. We were welcomed by the friendliest staff at reception, check in was an absolute breeze. Secure off street parking on the property, plus prayer facilities for Muslim guests. The room was perfect and so so clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. There is also a restaurant on the property that serves breakfast and dinner with a good menu of options to choose from. Cycad is also really conveniently located - botanical gardens was less than 10 minutes away, which we visited on saturday, and ilanga mall is literally around the corner, which has great stores and a movie theatre. I will say that i am incredibly fussy about cleanliness and how close to the comfort of home a place feels - Cycad ticked all my boxes. We'll definitely be back again - in fact we miss it already!

Getting inside is a bit complicated but as soon as you’re inside it is amazing. Security is top priority, Mathapelo is a lovely staff member, she was kind and communicated everything very well. My man couldn’t stop talking about how cosy and lovely the apartments are and I was a proud girlfriend🥰😍since I was the one responsible for looking for accommodation for our getaway weekend. Gardens are lovely and they have colorful bright colors for night life😊

The room was exceptionally clean, fresh, and well-maintained. Everything was neat, comfortable, and exactly as expected
