그랜드 PJ 호텔

The hotel is cozy, like a house. But staffs are not really friendly and accommodating.

If you’re a light/medium sleeper, read on. Alas, there’s an Asian karaoke club on the top (10th floor); plus there’s a mosque close by that has a call to prayer at 5 a.m. So, those two facts can make it very awkward to get a good night’s sleep. But on the plus side, there’s a local bus stop about 1 minute’s walk from the hotel. That bus goes to the Al Dahit bus station, from where the coaches to Dubai/Sharjah/Al Ain/Khasab and Abu Dhabi go from. If you’re coming from that station, just take a bus to the Rak Mall & you’ll see the hotel on the other side of the road, about 200 yards further on.

We stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the friendly and welcoming reception to the numerous choices of cool bars and lounges. The quiet and cozy restaurant on the ground floor offered delicious South Indian food, adding to the overall satisfaction. It's a perfect choice for budget-friendly travelers seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Good value. Hotel is old but the staff is very nice. Opposite Rak mall - good if you dont have a car. Always stayed there when I visit RAK though I almost didnt choose it the first time cuz of the reviews. Clean beds, strong ac but old towels and kettles.
