Bit costly but worth it

Glendale Hotel - Good Location but needs improvement.
The Hotel is centrally situated near the Railway Station and Marina. but the decor is tired and needs refurbishment. Our room was spacious and quit but the bathroom was very small with no hooks or facilities to keep towels or clothes and no towel to step onto from the Bath/shower. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good but could do with some additional choices such as fruits. Overall rating - average but a bit pricey for what you got.

Friendly Staff, but the Room Setup Was Inconvenient
The hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. However, the room did not have air conditioning, and it was very hot, which made it uncomfortable. The bathroom was not inside the room, so we had to lock our room and take the key every time we needed to use the bathroom. This was quite inconvenient and made the stay less comfortable.

Shabby chic , lots of things cosmetically in the room to potentially put off pernickity people … however we had a lovely stay , staff particularly pleasant 😊

Although clean - Maintenance badly needed
Luckily our room was at the back of the hotel so fairly quiet. Towels and toiletries provided. Sadly the bathroom door would not close very easily and had obviously been scrapping the wall for a long time. Shower head holder not stay up. Loo roll holder awkward behind loo was broken off anyway. Tv - no channels. Even tried retuning. New ariel needed. Righthand bedside lamp switch difficult to reach. Informed staff of all issues. Nothing done. Restaurant ok.
